Removing Posts from Search
Learn how to exclude specific content from your search results.
To remove a post from showing up in search results, you can use the internal tagging system in Ghost.
- Go to your Ghost Admin panel.
- Navigate to the post you want to hide.
- Open the post settings sidebar.
- Add the internal tag #no-search-index to the post.
- Update/Publish the post.
Customizing Highlight Colors
Match the search UI to your brand by changing the highlight color.
The highlight color is used for buttons, links, and focusing elements within the search interface.
- Go to your project dashboard.
- Click on Settings in the sidebar.
- Locate the Display Settings > Highlight Color section.
- Use the color picker to select your desired brand color.
- Save your changes.
The search widget will automatically update to use your new color preference.
Editing Search Interface Texts
Customize the text displayed in the search interface to match your brand's voice.
You can change the placeholder text, loading messages, and other labels in the search UI.
- Go to your project dashboard.
- Click on Settings in the sidebar.
- Expand the Display Settings > Translations section.
- Update the text fields (e.g., Search Placeholder, Loading Text).
- Save your changes.
